What is a Foreclosure? |
|
Foreclosure is a process that legally
gives a mortgage holder or other third-party lien holder
the right to take back a home that a borrower failed to
repay. Typically, this is due to divorce, unemployment,
difficult loan terms among other reasons. A few weeks to a
few months after a Notice of Default (NOD) is recorded, a
trustee's sale date to sell the county property at auction
will be arranged. The actual foreclosure occurs when the
property is sold at auction. Foreclosure properties
provide a great way to acquire a home at a bargain. The
key to a successful foreclosure deal is to first have
accurate and reliable property data of foreclosures for
sale. |

first be made at a foreclosure auction. The word on the
street is REO properties can be bought up for dirt cheap.

deal?

The Foreclosure Workbook

designer mortgages, rising debt ratios, and depressed
housing markets. Most homeowners have no idea where to
find basic, credible, and instructional information
about the foreclosure process, or what to do when
facing the time crunch before an auction...
